Stop Labor’s Housing Scheme
Help us fight against this insane housing scheme
The housing market is already in a precarious state, with many young taxpayers locked out of ever owning a home.
Disguised as a hero, one politician is threatening to make matters worse with a move that will further inflate the price of homes and turn the Australian housing market into a steaming hot mess.
Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese's "Help to Buy" scheme claims to offer a solution to those earning a low income and struggling to get into the market - for the government to foot up to 40% of the purchase price of a home, while retaining ownership of it.
And what happens if the buyer's income increases at some point in their career, pushing them above the eligibility threshold?
They will be forced to SELL.
What a way to tell people NOT to work hard, to say "no" to a pay rise or promotion, lest they lose their home.
The only way we can stop these sorts of ideas from making it through Parliament is to stand up and say NO. With inflation heading the way it is, Australia's future is in such a delicate position and we all need to work together to stop this insane policy from gaining traction and making matters worse.

This election promise is nothing more than a shameless attempt to prey on those struggling to get their foot in the property ladder and to appeal to young voters.
The ATA is making it a priority to educate young people and homeowners alike on what this policy would mean.
